After a week or so of tracking your daily protein intake, what have you learned from the data you’ve collected? Is your protein intake consistent on a daily basis or does it vary from day to day? Not that two days should be the same but typically speaking in order to reach your goals (whether it being performance, building muscle, etc.) it is always best to aim towards a consistent protein intake.
Love all this information I do believe I’m not consistently getting my protein in I can start strong with morning protein but after not so much throughout the day.
I feel for the most part I’m pretty consistent. It’s definitely a range, but I feel I average around 100g daily. Somedays are a bit more and others maybe a bit less. I strive for 20-30g each meal and eat an average of 5 times per day. My breakfast falls around 25g, lunch tends to be more like 30 or more, snack 25g, dinner 30g. I am vegan so have been working on finding more ways to boost this a bit. Would love to be closer to 120g everyday! My goal is that toned, strong, but lean look. Weight lose isn’t a focus.
Me too. Although a little tummy fluff gone would be ok. But ya, some days Fitness pal says I am over, some days are on trend..others gall short. Perfect doesn't always happen lol. But always Making note!
That’s really a good question asking myself if my protein intake is consistent .
Yes my protein intake is consistent but the real deal are these questions :
My goal is to lose weight but my concerns is that am I eating enough protein I tend to get confused when it comes to that . What I have been doing for the past was learning and prioritizing protein but again I get confused went back on using my containers that way it helps me a lot on my meal prep.
Going out shortly in time for the weekend! Per my newsletter just giving others until end of Tuesday a chance to subscribe so they can receive it. Keep an eye out as it is being prepared to go out soon!
Question. Im currently 210lbs ( 5'7 and 50yrs old). If I am looking to lose weight ( goal is 185-190lbs) what would you think to be a good protein goal for me? I mostly do barre workouts and some of your Sweat Sessions because I have a wrist injury and cannot lift or put my full weight on my wrist.
I definitely hit my protein in the mornings with my shake, recover, sometimes peanut butter. I definitely hit my protein in the evening as well with dinner with my family. I have noticed it is less in the middle of the day. If I added more protein in the day, like lunch or a snack, should that help drop some weight?
Don’t worry Mary Beth. You didn’t miss it. I noted in my newsletter I was giving everyone until end of Tuesday to sign up in case they had not. It will be sent out to the subscriber list just in time for the weekend. So keep an eye on your mailbox!
I was away on vacation and the WiFi wasn’t the greatest. I was able to get my workouts in. Just as an FYI went away for 11 days out to eat at 3 or 4 times, never deprived myself. Did my JOB1 workouts walked on the beach. Didn’t gain an ounce. It is possible to not have to workout consistently and starve yourself. Just train the JJ way. 🥰. Thank you for helping me learn to not over exercise and actually eat on vacation.

Thank you JJ!!!
I tracked my protein and was surprised that I wasn’t reaching the amount I thought per meal or daily. I really need to find ways to up my intake
Did I miss the email with this recipe? I have not seen it yet?

Hi friends! Anyone know where the protein waffle recipe is on substack?
Are those numbers for daily protein the same for someone who is post menopausal and 59? I definitely feel like I need more protein.
